Bikuben Dorm is located at the intersection between Njalsgade and Amagerfælledvej in Ørestad Nord - only approx. 2 km from Strøget and Rådhuspladsen. Furthermore, the dormitory is only 7 minutes from Christianshavn and 10 minutes from Rådhuspladsen on bike. In addition, the metro stations Amagerbro and Islands Brygge are a five-minute walk from the dormitory.

Furthermore, it is important to note that the dormitory is located less than one kilometer from larger green areas, including Amagerfælled, Christianshavns Volde and Islands Brygge.

The location of the dormitory means that it is part of Grundejerforeningen Ørestads (landowners' association) University Quarter. To learn more about activities in the area, check out their Facebook page. Ørestad Nord is the most developed part of Ørestaden, and is also the most lively. Bikuben is located next to the IT University and the University of Copenhagen Amager (KUA).

On the other side of Amagerfælledvej are the old squares that were built when the Amagerbro district grew up in the late 1800s. In the urban development sense, the area is hugely exciting and the complex character provides a fantastic city life with tremendous diversity.
